Interlink FSR406 Membrane Pressure Sensor
Interlink FSR406 Membrane Pressure Sensor — Short or Long
With a square, 1.75×1.5″, sensing area of the force-sensitive resistor, this FSR will change its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied to the sensing area. The harder force, the lower the resistance. The pressure applied to the FSR will have a resistance greater than 1 MΩ. This FSR can sense any force anywhere in the range of 100 grams to 10 kilograms.
The two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with a 0.1″ pitch to make the breadboard friendly. The sensing area is loaded into the peeling and rubber lining of the other side of the FSR.
These sensors are simple to set up and great for inductive pressure, but they are not very accurate. Use them to detect if it is squeezed, but you may not want to use it as a scale.
