The TEC1-12704 is a high-quality thermoelectric cooler (TEC) designed for applications that require a balance between cooling power and energy efficiency. Operating on the Peltier effect, this solid-state device creates a significant temperature differential between its two ceramic plates. With a 4-Ampere current rating, the 12704 model is an ideal mid-range solution for projects where a standard 6A module generates too much waste heat for the available heatsink to dissipate.

Constructed with 127 internal semiconductor couples made of high-purity bismuth telluride, the TEC1-12704 offers precise temperature control without the need for compressors or moving parts.
