Product Description
The SUNLEPHANT LCR-TC1 is an essential, high-speed diagnostic tool for 2026, designed to automatically detect and identify a vast range of electronic components with a single button press. This Pre-Assembled Edition features a premium 1.8-inch full-color TFT graphic display that provides clear, visual data including pinouts and component symbols.
Equipped with an internal lithium-ion battery and a built-in infrared (IR) decoder, the LCR-TC1 goes beyond standard multimeters. It is engineered to test transistors (NPN/PNP), MOSFETs, diodes, resistors, capacitors, and inductors instantly. Its “one-key” operation makes it the most efficient tool for sorting components in a lab or performing rapid fault-finding on a repair bench.

Key Features
  • Automatic Component Detection: Instantly identifies NPN and PNP transistors, N-channel and P-channel MOSFETs, JFETs, diodes (including Zeners), and more.
  • 1.8″ Full-Color TFT Display: High-definition graphic interface displays the component symbol, pin configuration, and measured values simultaneously.
  • One-Key Operation: Fully automated testing with an auto-power-off feature to conserve battery life.
  • Built-in Infrared (IR) Decoder: Capable of decoding IR remote control signals (supports Hitachi coding format); ideal for testing remote control functionality.
  • USB Rechargeable: Features an integrated high-capacity Li-ion battery with a Micro-USB charging port—no need for external batteries.
  • Self-Calibration Support: Includes a self-test function to ensure measurement accuracy over time
Usage Instructions
  1. Power On: Press the multi-function start button to wake the device.
  2. Component Insertion: Insert the component leads into the test socket (labeled 1, 2, 3). For SMD components, use the integrated testing pads or the included test clips.
  3. Lock & Test: Close the locking lever of the socket and press the start button.
  4. Read Results: The device will analyze the component for 2-5 seconds (longer for large capacitors) and display the type, pinout, and parameters (e.g., hFE for transistors or ESR for capacitors).
  5. IR Testing: Point an IR remote at the “IR” receiver hole and press a button on the remote. The tester will display the data code and waveform if compatible.
  6. Shutdown: The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to save battery
Q: Does this device come pre-assembled?

Yes. This is the SUNLEPHANT Original Pre-Assembled version. It is fully calibrated and housed in its professional casing, ready for immediate us

Q: Can I test components while they are still soldered to a circuit board?

No. You must always remove the component from the circuit and fully discharge capacitors before testing. Testing a charged capacitor or an “in-circuit” component will damage the tester

Q: Is this suitable for business purchasing?

Absolutely. It is a favorite for QC departments and repair shops because it significantly reduces the time required to identify unmarked or burnt-out components compared to traditional multimeters

Q: How accurate is the ESR measurement for capacitors?

The LCR-TC1 provides a reliable ESR reading for capacitors >2µF. While not a laboratory-grade specialized ESR meter, it is excellent for identifying “dried out” electrolytic capacitors in power supplies

Q: What is included in the package?

The package includes the LCR-TC1 Tester, a set of test clips, a Micro-USB charging cable, and a calibration electronic component set (capacitor/LED)

Q: Can it test Zener diodes above 5V?

Yes. Unlike many cheaper testers, the LCR-TC1 has a dedicated Zener diode test area (labeled K-A-A) that can test Zeners up to 30V. Search STMicroelectronics authorized distributors for compatible components
