Description
The ZP-3208 is a compact vertical-mount float switch designed for liquid level detection and control in small tanks, aquariums, water dispensers, and household appliances. It operates on a passive magnetic reed principle: a magnetic float moves vertically along the stem as liquid level changes, actuating a sealed reed switch inside the tube to open or close a circuit . The switch requires no external power for the sensing element—it is a dry contact device that simply makes or breaks a connection when the float reaches its actuation point.
The PP (polypropylene) or PVC construction provides good resistance to water and weak chemical environments, making it suitable for potable water and light industrial applications . With a maximum contact rating of 10W and a switching current of 0.5A, this switch is intended for low-power control circuits—it should drive a relay or PLC input rather than a pump or motor directly . The float orientation can be inverted to convert between Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) operation .
