Description
The 10,000W SCR Digital Voltage Regulator is a professional-grade power management solution designed for heavy-duty electrical control. Engineered with a high-performance, bidirectional Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR), this unit provides seamless adjustment of AC voltage for a wide range of industrial and domestic applications.
Unlike traditional analog regulators that rely on imprecise carbon film potentiometers, this model features a precision digital control system. The integrated digital display allows users to monitor and set exact power levels, ensuring repeatable performance for sensitive tasks such as industrial heating, large-scale motor speed regulation, and high-wattage lighting dimming. Housed in a durable, heat-dissipating aluminum alloy shell, it is built to withstand rigorous use in factories, laboratories, and workshops.
Key Features
  • Ultra-High Power Capacity: Handles up to 10,000W instantaneous peak power, making it one of the most powerful compact regulators on the market.
  • Digital Accuracy: Features a clear LED digital readout and tactile button controls for “step-less” adjustment from 0% to 100%.
  • Built-in Safety Switch: Includes a dedicated physical power switch to quickly isolate the load without needing to disconnect the main power source.
  • Advanced Heat Management: Equipped with an oversized, thickened aluminum heat sink and a high-speed intelligent cooling fan to prevent overheating during high-load operations.
  • Circuit Protection: Integrated with a wave voltage absorption circuit (RC Snubber) to protect the SCR from high-voltage surges and inductive kickback.
  • Industrial Build Quality: Uses a military-grade double-sided circuit board and flame-retardant materials for maximum reliability in commercial environments.

Usage Instructions
  1. Wiring: Connect your AC input to the “Input” terminals and your device (load) to the “Output” terminals. Ensure all connections are tight.
  2. Startup: Turn on the physical power switch. The digital display will illuminate.
  3. Regulation: Use the adjustment buttons to increase or decrease the output. The display shows the percentage of power/voltage being delivered.
  4. Note on Measurement: You must connect a load (minimum 20W) to accurately measure or see the voltage change on the digital display.
  5. Shutdown: After use, turn the power down to 0% and flip the physical switch to “OFF” for safety.
Q: Can this unit be used for business/industrial machinery?

Yes. It is ideal for industrial electric furnaces, large water heaters, industrial ovens, and high-power AC motors used in production lines.

Q: Why is the continuous power lower than 10,000W?

10,000W refers to the “Peak” or “Resistive” load limit (like a heating coil). For safety and longevity in business environments, we recommend a continuous load of 5,000W–6,000W to prevent excessive heat buildup.

Q: Will this work for speed control on all types of motors?

It works perfectly for brushed AC motors (like those in drills, grinders, or saws). It is generally not suitable for brushless motors, capacitor-start motors, or three-phase motors.

Q: Is it compatible with LED lights?

It is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs. It will not work with non-dimmable LEDs or energy-saving fluorescent lamps.

Q: Does the unit remember my settings if the power is cut?

Yes, the digital control module is designed to retain your last set value even after a power interruption, ensuring consistent performance for automated processes.

Q: Is there any risk of electrical interference?

This unit includes a wave absorption circuit to minimize electrical noise; however, for sensitive medical or high-fidelity audio equipment, we recommend using a dedicated EMI filter.
