Product Description
The Laqiya DSO138 is a compact, high-utility digital oscilloscope designed for hobbyists, students, and professional technicians who need a portable solution for low-frequency signal analysis. Unlike the DIY kits, this Welded Edition comes professionally assembled and tested, ensuring that the sensitive SMD components are perfectly soldered for immediate, reliable use in 2026.
Featuring a vibrant 2.4-inch color TFT LCD, the DSO138 provides clear waveform displays with real-time parameter measurements. It is built on an ARM Cortex-M3 processor (STM32F103C8), offering a balance of performance and ease of use. Whether you are troubleshooting audio circuits, testing PWM signals for robotics, or learning the fundamentals of waveform analysis, the DSO138 is an indispensable, cost-effective addition to your workbench.

Key Features
  • Fully Assembled (Welded): Ready-to-use right out of the box. No complex soldering required; professionally calibrated for accuracy.
  • Vivid 2.4″ Color TFT: High-resolution display featuring a grid for precise waveform measurement and clear parameter readouts.
  • Digital Trace Waveform: Features “Hold” functionality to freeze waveforms for detailed analysis.
  • Built-in 1KHz Square Wave Test Signal: Convenient for probe calibration and verifying the oscilloscope’s operational status.
  • Real-Time Data: Displays frequency, period, pulse width, duty cycle, Max/Min/Avg, and Peak-to-Peak values automatically.
  • Trigger Modes: Supports Auto, Normal, and Single trigger modes, making it easy to capture instantaneous waveforms.
Usage Guide
  1. Powering On: Connect a stable 9V DC power source to the barrel jack. The screen will illuminate and display the boot screen.
  2. Probe Calibration: Connect the included probe to the BNC connector. Clip the probe tip to the “Test Signal” terminal on the board. You should see a steady 1KHz square wave.
  3. Adjusting Vertical/Horizontal: Use the [SEL] button to cycle through parameters (Voltage scale, Timebase, Trigger). Use the [+] and [-] buttons to adjust the selected values.
  4. Capturing Waveforms: Use the Single trigger mode to capture a one-time event (like a power-up spike). Use Auto for continuous signals like audio or PWM.
  5. Data Analysis: Read the on-screen measurements (Freq, Vpp) located at the bottom of the display for instant diagnostic data
Q: Does this include a power supply?

Typically, no. The DSO138 requires a 9V DC power adapter (center positive). It is important to use a regulated supply to avoid noise interference in your waveforms

Q: Can I use this to measure 240V AC mains power?

No. The maximum input voltage is 50Vpk. Measuring mains electricity will damage the device and poses a significant safety risk. It is strictly for low-voltage electronics

Q: Is this suitable for Business or Educational bulk orders?

Yes. This pre-welded version is ideal for schools and corporate training labs because it ensures every unit works perfectly without the risk of student soldering errors. It is a staple tool for “Introduction to Electronics” courses

Q: How accurate is the 200KHz bandwidth?

The DSO138 is highly accurate for signals within the 0 – 100KHz range. As signals approach the 200KHz limit, the waveform may appear slightly rounded, which is normal for an entry-level 1Msps device

Q: What is the benefit of the "Welded" version over the "DIY Kit"?

The DIY kit contains very small Surface Mount Devices (SMD) that are difficult for beginners to solder. The Welded Edition ensures that the heart of the device—the MCU and analog signal path—is professionally joined for industrial-grade reliability

Q: Does it come with a probe?

Yes, this package includes a standard BNC-to-Alligator clip probe, suitable for most general-purpose electronic testing
