Product Description
The FNIRSI DSO-TC3 is the definitive portable diagnostic tool for the modern electronics engineer, student, and hobbyist. It integrates three essential benchtop instruments into a single, compact, and rechargeable handheld device: a Digital Oscilloscope, a High-Speed Component Analyzer (LCR Meter), and a Signal Generator.
This device eliminates the need for bulky equipment, providing immediate, high-resolution insights with a 10MSa/s real-time sampling rate and 500KHz analog bandwidth. Whether you are troubleshooting industrial controls with 400V input peaks or identifying a faulty SMD resistor on a PCB, the DSO-TC3 delivers precise, reliable data on its vibrant 2.4-inch color TFT display. It is the perfect tool for education, rapid prototyping, field maintenance, and professional troubleshooting.

Key Features
  • 3-in-1 Functionality: Seamlessly switch between Oscilloscope mode, Component Tester mode (LCR/Transistor/Diode), and Signal Generator mode.
  • High-Performance Scope: Features a 10MSa/s real-time sampling rate and 500KHz analog bandwidth, with a massive 400V maximum input voltage range.
  • Automatic Component Analysis: Instantly identifies NPN/PNP transistors, MOSFETs, JFETs, diodes, inductors, resistors, and capacitors with graphical pinout displays.
  • Integrated Li-ion Battery: Built-in rechargeable lithium battery ensures true portability and extended field use via USB-C charging.
  • Signal Generator: Capable of outputting Sine, Square, Triangle, PWM, and other basic waveforms (1Hz–100KHz output).
  • DIY & Professional Use: Durable ABS casing designed for rigorous daily use in both teaching environments and industrial settings.
Usage Guide
  1. Charging & Power On: Charge the device via the USB-C port. Press the power button to turn it on and navigate the main menu using the multi-function buttons.
  2. Oscilloscope Mode:
    • Connect the BNC probe to the input jack.
    • Use the auto-calibration/auto-measure feature for quick waveform capture, or manually adjust trigger levels, time base, and vertical sensitivity.
  3. Component Tester Mode:
    • Insert the component leads into the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket at the top (positions 1, 2, 3).
    • Press the “OK” button. The device automatically analyzes the component and displays the pinout diagram and electrical characteristics (e.g., ESR value for capacitors).
  4. Signal Generator Mode: Select the generator function from the menu, choose the desired waveform, frequency, and amplitude, and output the signal via the dedicated pins/port for testing other circuits
Q: Is this device suitable for measuring AC mains voltage (120V/240V)?

Yes, within limits. In the 1X oscilloscope probe mode, the device supports up to 400V peak-to-peak input voltage, making it safe for standard mains voltage troubleshooting

Q: Can I test components while they are still soldered to a PCB?

No. You must always remove the component from the circuit board and fully discharge any capacitors before placing them in the ZIF socket. Testing in-circuit components will likely damage the device

Q: Is this suitable for business or educational bulk purchasing?

Yes, the DSO-TC3 is widely used in technical colleges and professional repair centers due to its durability, portability, and multi-functionality. It is a robust alternative to carrying three separate instruments

Q: How does the LCR meter function differ from a dedicated LCR meter?

The LCR-TC1 provides fast, automated testing with good accuracy for general use and ESR measurement. Dedicated high-end LCR meters offer laboratory-grade precision and multiple test frequencies, which the DSO-TC3 does not

Q: What is included in the box?

The standard package includes the FNIRSI DSO-TC3 host unit, a BNC standard oscilloscope probe, three test hooks/clips for the component tester, and a USB-C charging cable
